Ceremony, with storytelling and ritual, is a way to honour and mark these great thresholds: births, marriages, coming of age, endings, new beginnings and the moments that shape who we become. They have long helped us make meaning of these transitions, honouring where we have come from and guiding us towards what comes next.
My work centres around three of life's most significant stories. I create bespoke wedding ceremonies that weave together your unique story . I offer Birth Story Medicine® sessions for parents and birth workers seeking to process and integrate their birth experience. And I design meaningful rites of passage for those navigating life's many initiations, helping to create ceremonies that honour the threshold being crossed with intention, story and ritual.

Wedding Ceremonies.
As a wedding celebrant, I get to know your journey, your values and the life you are choosing together, creating a ceremony that feels authentic, joyful and deeply personal. I co-create each ceremony through a series of conversations, weaving together your stories, values, relationships, traditions and hopes into an experience that reflects the heart of who you are.
As part of this process, I meet with each partner individually to hear your own experience of how your relationship began and the path that has brought you here. I then weave your two perspectives into a bespoke storytelling performance that is shared during the ceremony—a unique retelling of your love story that honours both your individual voices and the life you are creating together.This storytelling experience can also be commissioned as a standalone offering for couples who already have an officiant but would like their story to become part of their wedding celebration.
I work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, faiths and family structures, including those with no religious affiliation and LGBTQIA+ couples. Whether you envision a deeply spiritual ceremony, something entirely secular, or a celebration that blends cultures, traditions and personal rituals, I work closely with you to create a ceremony that feels meaningful and completely your own. I work closely with each couple to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, and the way you want to celebrate your commitment.
Birth Story Medicine.
Every birth leaves an imprint. It is a profound initiation into parenthood. However, for many parents, the experience remains unprocessed and they find themselves carrying the lasting effects of birth trauma, or returning again and again to feelings of shock, grief, fear, disappointment, confusion, anger or unresolved questions around the birth or the postpartum period.
Telling their birth story in a space where they feel deeply listened to and understood becomes an important part of healing. Using the Birth Story Medicine® process developed by Pam England, alongside my background in counselling and storytelling, I offer a gentle, guided space to revisit your birth experience with compassion and curiosity. Together we explore what happened, uncover deeper meaning within your experience, and find a path towards greater understanding and integration. Many people find that even a single session can bring profound insight and resolution.
Rites of Passage.
Together we explore your story, the threshold you are crossing, and the rituals, words, symbols and people that feel most meaningful to you. Every ceremony is unique. It may take place in nature, around water or fire, in your home, or somewhere that holds significance. It may involve family and friends or be an intimate personal ritual. I craft and lead a ceremony that reflects your story and honours the significance of this moment in your life.
This may take the form of a naming ceremony, a coming-of-age celebration, marking of the transition into parenthood, a ritual for a miscarriage, divorce, menopause, recovery from illness, retirement, gender transition, immigration, a reconciliation, the choice not to have children, or a completely bespoke ritual for any threshold that calls to be acknowledged.
